With the huge demand Kermit is back! The”Kermit Meme” Roshe Runs make an encore appearance. A custom sneaker dish that is equal parts humor, sarcasm, art, and pop-culture influence. Custom insoles and hand tags are included.
A “420” theme all done with Angelus and airbrushed acrylic paint. A delicate ombre from iridescent green to purple along the quilted upper sets off the front of the shoes. Then a complicated overlay of Mary Jane leaves done in several tones of green, purple, and iridescent blue/green are the main ingredient for the remainder of these crazy customs. The entire lining is also painted as well as the medial sole panel.
Many of you saw the sneaker blogs recently feature this Yeezy II inspired pack of KD IVs. The pack includes everything you see: Customized KD IV’s, matching insole, hang tags, boxes, and all over print shirts.
There is only 1 pack remaining in the series of 4 and it is a size 9. This pack will not be recreated. Real python is used in creating these customs. 3 All Over print shirts are included along with custom boxes, insoles and hang tags. The soles glow on all 3 pair.
It was once rumored that this custom sneaker was actually a release from Nike. Do not let the theme-accurate appearance, perfect glow soles, glowing swoosh, and flawless execution fool you, this is actually a custom sneaker!
This package includes:
This is the “Game of Death” KD IV custom by yours truly. It is by far one of the most involved KD customs on this website. The theme is Bruce Lee’s “Game of Death” classic Kung-Fu movie. From kanji characters to Kareem Abdul-Jabar’s footprint, from Bruce Lee’s iconic track suit to vicious blood splatter, all the key elements from the movie are represented on this masterpiece.
This is one of the most special themes executed by Chef of GourmetKickz. The title of the piece is a play on words that eludes to the fact that “before there were heroes, HE rose”.. think about it.
This is the “Kill Bill” KD4, it is one of the best KD4 Customs ever produced by GourmetKickz and one of the most iconic custom KD4’s ever. The price includes the base shoe, custom insoles, box, and a matching all over print shirt.
The color scheme is relatively reversed from the “Game of Death” custom with a few exceptions and additions. The strap design consists of “Kill Bill” in kanji and a similar track Suit Stripe from the Bruce Lee version. This custom features a white midsole and white laces to represent “the bride”. The tongue is decorated with patches from the iconic moto suit Breatrix wore. The insoles show our bride holding her Hatori Hanzo sword and the patches from her bike jacket. Blood splatter everywhere concludes this design. Some may have a taste for it, while others will prefer the Bruce Lee version. Either way, this design will soon be gone forever. This is the last pair in the world.
Sometimes you hear about a strain of bud that has psychadelic colors, but have never actually seen this crazy strain with your own eyes. You hear about how it changes colors and has bright pinks and greens and metallic hues you never imagined nature could create. Well here is a Roshe Run that channels that mythical strain of bud. A bright pink underlay is covered with layer after layer of “420” print while the quilted front has a color shift like none of the other roshes from this pack. This is truly a piece of art and intended for those who love the LOUD!
On January 22nd 2008 the world lost a great actor who we all came to revere as the best on screen “Joker”, Heath Ledger. This “Joker” KD IV is yet another piece which pays homage to the memorable character Mr. Ledger portrayed. The base KD IV is from NikeID.
This custom AF1 has been covered in cannibis leaf print fabric and touched up with some great contrasting details on the swoosh, tongue, and heel. This pair of custom kicks will certainly be a hit in your next cipher! 4/20 In full effect with this sneakers.
This custom masterpiece of Chef’s is a spin-off of my famous Hypnotiq-Blues AKA HypnoBlues AF1 Low. Influenced by his collaboration with 1800 Tequila and their intoxicating Silver line, these feature the most notable details of the classic HypnoBlues and are topped off with a splash of croc-silver fabric! It doesn’t get much better than these!
Inspired by the iconic Midnight Marauders album cover by A Tribe Called Quest, this custom Nike AF1 has a portion of the cover art skinned over the front using a method similar to Nike’s Vacuum Tech system. Chef has taken great care to color match the vibrant yellow and keeping the remainder of the shoe simplistic, allowing the cover art to be the star of this shoe.
Call this Chef cooking up Beef for the boys across the pond, or call it capitalizing on an increase in google searches for “flower bomb” AF1. Either way, this custom is much more creative than just an embroidered patch slapped on an AF1. If you can read between the lines, the use of Banksy’s Flower Bomber is a direct shot at the UK based guys who launched their embroidered patch custom. Why they did not think to reference a UK Based artist as great as Banksy in their own custom is beyond me. It seemed like an opportunity missed. Well the Banksy on this custom AF1 did not miss, he clearly launches his bouquet at the front of the sneaker and lands a direct hit, with the floral explosion at the frontal panel, which then wraps around the entire inboard side of the shoe (not yet shown).
The printed floral pattern is fused directly to the sneaker, a process I have used for all of my 15 years in the custom sneaker craft. The process is durable and water resistant.
Included:
The sequel to an amazing custom sneaker by Chef of GourmetKickz. The Ghostbusters theme is translated onto a Silver/Green foamposite base. Glow in the dark shoelaces are available only if supplies last. A realistic slime print is used to mimic slimer’s skin texture similar to the original Ghostbuster’s Foamposite by GourmetKickz.
This is a simple custom that uses a “concord” foamposite as the base. The sole and carbon fiber are blacked out and the entire lining and eyestay are painted a brilliant metallic copper. The result, literally a “Coppertop” aka “Duracell” Foamposite One.
This custom uses the patina effect and copper paint. The base shoe used is a 30th Anniversary Year of the Dragon AF1. The final piece is nothing short of an amazing work of wearable art. Contrast copper brushed scaled over a patina texture. Copper swoosh, eyestay, and vamp. Teal colored lining and accents. The woven tongue has even been painted in copper. The entire leather midsole also wears the patina effect, atop the stock icey blue sole, the bluish green patina pops brilliantly.
For a similar custom, please Commission Chef and send in your own base pair of AF1’s (the $450 budget is just fine for something just like this)
What do Freddy Krueger and Chef have in common? Well they both do their slaying with kitchen knives! As such it only makes sense that GourmetKickz offers yet another Nightmare On Elm Street inspired custom. Some of you may remember the famed “Freddy Foamposite” that Chef cooked up over a year ago. It was regarded by many as one of the best Freddy customs ever. As you can see, Chef is back for Part II and decided to use a Roshe Run Premium from NikeID as the base.
Freddy’s sweater is represented on the heel and lining. His burned skin is revealed through slashes on the sidewall. Tan skin tone with bloody splatters cover the rest of the upper. The outsole is painted in silvery steel to mimic the shape and color of Freddy’s blades.
The Kill Bill theme has become a staple of GourmetKickz offerings. This only makes sense since the most pivotal character in the Kill Bill saga is sword maker Hattori Hanzo. Without Hanzo Steel Beatrix would have never been able to exact revenge on old Bill. And if you recall, Hanzo is first introduced to us in Kill Bill Vol. 1 as a sushi Chef in Okinawa.
Chef of GourmetKickz has cooked up several renditions of the Kill Bill theme on a few shoes. The most notable was the KD4. No Kill Bill theme has been cooked by GourmetKickz on a KD since the KD4, until now the theme appears once again on the KD7. Bloody straps, 4 strikes across the forward swoosh, track suit stripes, and that iconic black and yellow colorway. Get your pair before this offering is over forever.
The flywire mesh panels are retextiled with a skull and rose graphic that invokes thoughts of the Crucifixion. The center skull wears a crown of roses, the flanking skulls are without crowns. Perhaps they are meant to be the thieves who died along side Jesus. The forward swoosh and rear panels are textiled with a wooden plank graphic. The diamond swoosh, sidewall diamond and tongue pull are gilded in gold leafing. The forward upper hyperfuse is painted brilliant red that fades to white. The midsole is also painted with a gradient fade with added red and white stippling. This 1 of 1 is a true masterpiece.
This pair is a size 11. It is the only one made.
This is a reboot of the “Easter 420” Foamposite. It has a painted lining and re-textiled upper along with a dyed sole. The base shoe used is an all white foamposite.
This is a remix of the “305” Foamposite. It has the same exact re-textiled upper as the original version, but is mated with a basic lining paint job and no paint on the eyestay or heel collar. The result is a clean pair of foams whose lining colors, accents, and lace colors alternate from left to right. The insoles are customized with the “305” print as well.
This “Express” version has been launched in an effort to offer one of GourmetKickz most sought after custom pieces at a more accessible price.
This is your chance to collaborate with Chef on a custom foamposite that is created to your taste. The base foamposite is included and will typically be a white foamposite since it is a great blank canvas. The completed piece of art will surely be a neck breaker and prized addition to your collection.
Glow options (if you wish) and a matching custom all over print shirt are included. Custom box, insoles and hang tag are also included.
This is the custom “420″ Foamposite One which many of you might have seen briefly on social media. The base all white foamposite is completely reworked in the Kitchen; from the lining to the insoles, the lacestay to the soles. The gradient cannibus print is the same that was seen on the custom “420″ LeBron 9. This time around the print is the focal point of the shoe. The soles are dyed purple as is the lining. The tongue mesh fades from lime green to purple and features cannibus leaf imprints along the gradient transition. The shoe comes with a custom box and all over print shirt.
This is the custom “Big Bang-Alike” Zoom Rookie that many people saw featured on the web a short time ago. This custom creation is one of the most involved custom rookies in the GourmetKickz catalog of offerings. The lining is dyed, lacestay and tongue mesh are painted to mimic the look of the LeBron 9 “Big Bang” Galaxy. The foamposite portion of the shoe is wrapped in a galaxy print that closely resembles the one Nike used. The pods are 3M with glowing craters. The stars on the print glow, as do the soles of this custom shoe. The shoe is included as well as custom insoles, hang tag and box.
This dish is a combination of the previously launched Zoom Neblua custom and the Luminous Galaxy Foamposite One. The result is a dish that will keep you satisfied for a very long time. No need to send in a shoe, as the price reflects the zoom rookie is included. Order, sit back and wait for a completed product. Both the galaxy print and the soles glow. The stars on the print glow as well. Includes custom box, custom hang tag, custom insoles.
So by now you have seen many other custom sneaker artists try their hand at creating a Galaxy Zoom Rookie. Well, being the proverbial tortoise that I am, I decided to take my time and release my masterpiece after the other works have surfaced, so call mine the Pièce de résistance if you will, or better yet… the main course!
The Zoom Nebula Rookie by GourmetKickz features a wrapped zoom rookie base featuring a super detailed high resolution image of the Orion Nebula. If you wish to use a different galaxy print you may consult with Chef after payment.
The Kill Bill Roshe by GourmetKickz is perhaps the most incredible custom Roshe Chef has created thus far. This custom channels the essence of the vengeful bride and pays homage to each of GourmetKickz past Kill Bill customs.
A few pair are left over from the last small batch, so if you see your size, you better cop before it’s gone.
This is the “Big Bang-Alike” Foamposite One custom that was featured on some sneaker blogs recently. It is a very involved custom which converts an all white foamposite into the piece you see now. The lining and tongue mesh are painted max orange while the lacestay is a tone on tone orange with stippling. This colorway channels the overall color blocking of the LeBron 9 “Big Bang” Galaxy. The foamposite upper is wrapped in a print that resembles the galaxy print Nike used on the a fore mentioned LeBron, but is much more intricate in detail and vibrancy. The stars glow as do the soles of this piece of art. The shoe is very wearable and more durable than fully painted custom foamposites.
This package includes the base shoe of course, custom box, insoles, hang tag, and a matching all over print galaxy shirt. You select the size.
This is a masterpiece, a true piece of wearable art. The detail is amazing on this 100% hand painted custom foamposite. The colorway is of course based on the Net Net Yeezy 1 which released several years ago.
The Jordan 4 is completely redone in this first custom 4 by GourmetKickz ever. Patina panels with varying degree of oxidation, copper painted frontal, tongue and Jumpman logo. Genuine leather laces with hand wrapped copper wire lacetips. Your box lid will also be painted just like the shoe.
This is not a quick color flip, this is genuine down and dirty deep paint-based custom artwork on a sneaker. Proper prep of the base shoe, careful masking, meticulous detail work, and well chosen garnishes make this a masterpiece dish. You are shopping top shelf custom work here, this is not to be compared with novice level artistry.
When Chef uses herbal ingredients while cooking Easter Dinner, the result is the custom foamposite you see here.
