2 Years ago on Easter Sunday, Chef revisited an old favorite theme he cooked called the “Before HeRose” ensemble. In 2013 he presented the KD4 “Before HeRose” which was a huge hit. The theme was originally plated on an AF1 Low. Each custom in this theme sports an amazing skull print which invokes thoughts of the Crucifixion. The main skull wears a crown of roses, 2 flanking skulls are without crowns. Thorns link the repeating patterns which is also adorned with vibrant roses. This year’s “Before He Rose” version is served atop a LeBron X ID base. The result is simply stunning. Gold foil is used on the swoosh, midsole diamond and lacelock. The upper’s hyperfuse is painted a vibrant red and fades to white. The midsole is also painted in a red to white gradient with contrast stippling. Only 1 pair has been made with no reproductions scheduled. This pair is a size 11 and can be purchased in the online shop.
