One of the most striking features of the foamposite is the ice sole that most pairs feature. This sole is one of Chef’s favorite areas to transform. A glowing sole is a sure fire way to break necks. And no one can made an ice sole glow like Chef of GourmetKickz.
Aside from being beautiful works of art, GourmetKickz custom foamposites are durable enough to endure every day wear and tear. They are customized using materials that can endure scuffs and scrapes.
Every custom foamposite that has a fabric wrap as part of the customizations will automatically include a matching custom box. The existing sneaker box for the base shoe will be wrapped in the same pattern as the foamposite.
Cooked Up by Chef
Don’t think of this foamposite creator as a strict representation of what your custom foamposites will look like. Of course if you really want them made exactly as shown, that is easy for Chef to do. But what’s the fun in color by numbers, or coloring on the lines for that matter? Why not challenge Chef? Feel free to use the foamposite creator as a general blueprint, a list of ingredients if you will, that Chef should put his own pizzazz into. You can communicate with Chef after your order to give him suggestions on what to do with the mockup associated with your order. Reference the images of other foamposites on this page and you will see they contain elements represented in the foamposite creator, but have lots of Chef’s own special sauce mixed in!
The base shoe used is a premium leather Vans Classic Slip-On. It is completely customized with Chef’s now signature patina effect. Copper Metallic accents complete the look. The result is an amazing and beautiful piece of wearable art.
The Custom Nike Air Force One Low Before He Rose by GourmetKickz the AF1 King is one of the most amazing custom sneakers ever made from fabric and gold accents.
The toebox and swooshes are affixed with gold foil fabric. The sidewall and heel are seamlessly affixed with an amazing skulls and roses fabric. The tongue tag is also affixed with this fabric, each foot bearing a different portion of the fabric for a truly unique look. The inside and outside of each foot also bear a different scene from the fabric. The frontal and eyestay are painted with a vibrant magenta-red paint to hook up with the colors from the fabric.
This 420 themed AF1 is a throwback to an old custom AF1 GourmetKickz was known for, the “Get Lifted” AF1. Chef teased at this remastered version last year on his Instagram account but held off on a release until now. This custom is fully hand painted inside and out. The purple used is iridescent so it shifts hues in the sunlight.
Patina is a individualized effect prized for its unique aesthetic and found primarily in copper pieces that have been exposed to oxidation. Now you can sneak some of the same style into your shoes with the encore offering of this GourmetKickz Patina AF1. Starting with a canvas of the Air Force 1 every pair of shoes is covered in a custom copper paint and aged to showcase a dashing and distinct patina on the toebox and sidewalls.
